We are thankful for the support and counsel provided by the medical staff, especially Dr. Nisa and Dr. Giselda and all the nurses. We couldn’t have dreamed of a better team to guide us through this journey. It is a path full of questions, doubts, difficulties and of course costly; and the staff has provided us guidance and attention. Naturally there are always some things overlooked and not perfectly coordinated or communicated, as well as some surprises. But we always had the necessary support when it mattered the most, such as when it was necessary to decide to interrupt a process, or when we were in doubt for a protocol or when some unexpected symptoms showed up. And that kind of support is what matters most; the doctors and the nurses were great and we learned to trust them. Naturally we also must be vigilant and thankfully we always had an open and active communication channel when necessary. The administrative part required some attention and time to make sure everything was in order, but we must acknowledge that things were processed and eventually everything was resolved. The team was very patient and understanding. We always felt like the entire team knows us and where we are in the process and is well coordinated. Mindful of the expected inevitable misalignments or oversights inherent to managing a large amount of customers and still deliver a quality and very humane service. The outcome for us is a success and are most happy with our choice and grateful for the support and attention. We will certainly visit the clinic again once our family expands. Julien & Elena

We returned second time to the clinic. The communication was smooth, the team was very responsive to all our questions and problems. We had the impression to have a thorough medical examination and the doctor always discussed her findings and recommendations with us by video chat. My personal visit passed also very well. The clinic also has a follow up on the pregnancy and the newborn and older baby, which I found also important. All and all, we were very satisfied.

We had a great experience with Ferticentro. The communication was clear, the clinic was in fantastic condition, everything felt new, clean, and most of all every single member of staff we had contact with, from the initial contact to the doctors to the reception staff, to the embryologists, were fantastic. I wanted to give a special shout out to my favourite people, the nurses. They are kind. Empathetic, gentle and caring. We felt so well cared for by Catia, Barbara and the whole nursing team (I wished I could remember more names!) We are currently 13 weeks pregnant with our first attempt of reciprocal IVF. As a same sex couple I never once felt like we were treated or handled differently than anyone else, single or partnered, in the clinic. I would highly recommend Ferticentro for fertility treatment.

5 stars for ferticentro!! After 5 long years of disappointments at clinics in the Netherlands and Germany, we ended up at Ferticentro. Thanks to Ferticentro, I am now 25 weeks pregnant after the first embryo transfer and I feel so happy. Ferticentro employs skilled doctors, nurses and service-oriented staff. Everyone is incredibly friendly, sympathetic and no question is too much. There are many opportunities for research, which also gave us the reassurance that we did everything we could in our last fertility treatment. Ferticentro thank you very much for this wonderful turn in our lives, a beautiful baby girl on the way. With special thanks to Dr. Nisa Felix, Maria Tinoco and Sofia Rodrigues.

At first it was uncommon to contact a center abroad. We were hoping to find a professional center which could help us with a donor. After the intake and the good reviews we took the shot. In December we visited the Ferticentro in Coimbra. The threadment just took a couple of hours. It was worth the visit, money and emotions Now my wife has been pregnant for about 14 weeks and everything looks perfect. We are so thankful for the help of Ferticentro. I would really would advice this center for there knowledge and professional help.

We are from Asia to come here. Ferticentro is a really great team. Prof Isabel Torgal had a good treatment plan for us and found the best way to get a result. Maria helped us to connect effectively. Dr Nisa Félix did egg retrieval, not much blood and recovery soon for the patient , and her caring action( touch the check) before egg retrieval helped to reduce stress and feeling caring. Nurse Sara is humorous and warm to take care of the patient. And ofcourse, the lab team works effectively and Dr Livia keeps in contact with us day by day. Now we have a 31 week-pregnancy boy. Very recommended for same-sex couples to have children in Portugal and especially Ferticentro.

After a lot of research and a failed experience with another clinic, Ferticentro turned out to be the best choice for me. Even before I became their patient, they took the time to explain all my options and helped me find the best solution, especially as an international patient with time constraints. Throughout the entire process, they made me feel comfortable and supported. From the front desk staff to the nurses and doctors, everyone was thorough, transparent, and genuinely cared. They responded promptly to all my questions, and I always felt like I was in good hands. Initially, I had some hesitation since the clinic isn't as modern as others I visited, but it was impeccably clean. On the day of my egg retrieval, I had my own spotless room, and everyone was so kind and reassuring. They made a difficult and personal procedure feel much less daunting, even though I was going through it alone and had never been under anesthesia before. Ferticentro is great at accommodating international patients, both with timelines and financial concerns. If you're considering egg freezing, I highly recommend this clinic. Even if you're staying in Lisbon, it's just a 1.5-hour train ride to Coimbra. I only wish I had started with them from the beginning. The staff and clinic are incredible

Our battle against infertility lasted for 8 long and tough years. But we had amazing support from all the fantastic professionals at Ferticentro. From the receptionists, to patient care, to nurses and doctors, up to the leader Prof. Isabel Torgal, they all were so empathetic, nice, supportive, positive and always with a smile on their faces, genuinely happy to see us. This team was able to help us with 2 successful pregnancies, when we were 47 and 50 years old, proving that nothing is impossible and this team knows what they’re doing. We are so grateful to them.

We have been customers of Ferticentro since 2019, and we could not be happier with the services we have been provided with. The staff is extremely nice and empathetic. The doctors are knowledgeable, experienced and competent. The nurses are all so nice, sensible, and understanding. The technical lead - Dra. Isabel Torgal is an amazing person, who was always close to us and interested in how we were doing, going out of her way to ensure we were successful. The new location is very convenient, and the building / rooms are very modern, clean and cozy. I would definitely recommend anyone wanting to do an IVF to come to Ferticentro (and I'm saying that after having experienced other named labs in Portugal and abroad)

I attended Ferticentro twice for embryo transfer, the second resulting in my current pregnancy. Communication via email was prompt and informative. I found the staff made the process as smooth and easy as possible. When I came to Portugal the Staff were very welcoming at Ferticentro. The happily looked after my little boy for both the embryo transfers. Everything was explained fully and they were very professional and experienced throughout the whole process. I met all members of the team and was cared for very well. I have stayed in touch to update Ferticentro on my current pregnancy and they are so happy for me. From start to finish, the care I have received at Ferticentro has been fantastic. At every stage, from conversations with our Patient Co-Ordinator Marta, to Reception staff, to Nurses, Embryologists and our amazing Consultant Dr Mary Branquinho, we have felt supported and cared for. After a dreadful IVF experience in the UK, I thought all fertility treatment was impersonal and cold - Ferticentro proved me wrong and I highly recommend them!

We have had an amazing experience at Ferticentro, we welcomed our 2nd daughter in 2018 through Reciprocal IVF. We are now 12 weeks pregnant with our 3rd child and cannot thank Professor Isabel and the whole team enough. They are angels! Thank you thank you!
