Ventus IVF Center

Ventus IVF Center is a private fertility clinic located in Nicosia, North Cyprus and opened in March 2024. Despite being a young clinic, the team has already supported 192 treatment cycles in 2024, including 110 egg donation cycles and 82 IVF cycles with patients’ own eggs. This experience allows them to confidently guide both local and international patients through their fertility journey.

The clinic welcomes single women and offers treatment up to the age of 55 (for both own eggs and donor eggs). There are no marital status requirements, and female same-sex couples are accepted, including for the ROPA method. Patients with HIV, HBV, or HCV may also be treated, provided their viral load is negative. Advanced embryo testing options, including PGT-A genetic screening, are available as part of treatment planning and may also support family balancing where appropriate. Both online and on-site consultations are offered, making it easy to start the process from abroad.

Ventus IVF Medical Team

Assoc Prof Dr Beril Yuksel is the Medical Director of the clinic. She graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, one of Turkey’s leading medical schools. She completed her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Ankara Dr. Zekai Tahir Burak Women’s Health and Research Hospital, a highly respected training center.

In 2012, she worked as a research associate in robotic surgery and urogynecology at Tufts University Baystate Medical Center (USA). She has authored nearly 100 scientific publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals and regularly participates in international congresses as both a speaker and presenter. Her main areas of expertise include:

• Preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGT)
• Artificial intelligence applications in reproductive medicine

Dr Yuksel sees patients daily and speaks fluent English and Turkish.

Egg & Embryo Selection Technology

Ventus IVF Center is the first clinic in Cyprus to introduce artificial intelligence-based egg selection technology. This advanced system analyses egg images by evaluating key factors such as size, shape, and cytoplasmic characteristics to predict egg quality and developmental potential. Using sophisticated pattern recognition and continuously learning from a large image database, the AI can detect subtle details that may not be visible to the human eye.

The same AI-driven approach is also used in embryo selection, where algorithms analyse images and developmental data to identify patterns linked to successful implantation and pregnancy outcomes. By combining image analysis with predictive modelling based on previous IVF cycles, the system supports embryologists in selecting the most suitable eggs and embryos — helping to improve precision and maximise the chances of a successful pregnancy.

With Embryoscope+, the clinic monitors embryo development 24/7, supporting advanced embryo selection, optimised culture conditions, reduced laboratory interventions, and a process aligned with the latest scientific standards.

AI Sperm Selection

Ventus IVF Center is also the first clinic in Cyprus to introduce artificial intelligence-driven sperm selection. This innovative technology analyses individual sperm cells in detail, assessing key parameters such as morphology (shape), motility, and other important characteristics. Using advanced imaging and specialist-defined criteria, the system helps identify the healthiest and most suitable sperm for fertilisation. By selecting sperm cells with the best potential, the clinic aims to optimise fertilisation quality and increase the chances of healthy embryo development and overall treatment success.

Embryology Lab at Ventus IVF

Ventus IVF Center is home to Cyprus’s first and only VOC-free IVF laboratory, designed to protect embryos from harmful airborne pollutants known as volatile organic compounds. Because embryo development is highly sensitive to its environment, the lab uses advanced clean room technology, HEPA filtration, positive air pressure, and low-VOC materials to maintain the highest possible air quality. By strictly controlling molecular air purity and continuously monitoring laboratory performance, the clinic aims to create the safest and most stable conditions for healthy embryo development.

The clinic uses a Chip ID Security System — an automatic patient identification system that eliminates the risk of mix-ups and ensures complete accuracy and safety of your genetic material throughout every stage of treatment.

Clinic Location

Ventus IVF Center is conveniently located about 40 minutes by taxi from Ercan Airport and around 1 hour from Larnaca Airport. The clinic provides airport pick-up services (approximately €50 from Ercan and €110 from Larnaca) and can assist with hotel arrangements to make your stay as smooth and stress-free as possible. From your first enquiry to your return home, the team aims to provide clear communication, transparency, and supportive care every step of the way.

The clinic is open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, and on Saturdays from 08:00 to 13:00. The clinic is closed on Sundays.

I don’t even know where to begin because no words can truly express our gratitude to Ventus IVF Center and the incredible team that made our dream come true. The best decision of my life was to choose Venus IVF Center among many other IVF clinics. We endured 11 difficult years in United States of America without results and with Ventus IVF Center it worked on the first attempt and I am seven weeks pregnant.

They are going to provide you with all the pictures for your embryos everyday until 5th day and at the end they will give you USB Flash Drive that includes your ultrasound and embryos development they make you inform with every step they will make it.

Excellent experience at Ventus. The medical team is highly professional, but what sets them apart is their genuine care. Dr. Beril and her team are just wonderful. As international patients, we felt completely supported by the coordinator (Emel) who was always there for us emotionally and practically. We felt seen, heard, and incredibly well-cared for throughout the entire process.
