Clinica Tambre is located in the heart of Spain, the capital city of Madrid, and has been working in infertility since 1978, that’s over 40 years. This makes it an ideal location for all of your needs thanks to the number of flights in and out of the city daily. With it being such a large city there will be plenty to see and do between your visits to the clinic, so you can turn your treatment into a vacation and experience wonders you never have before.
Clinica Tambre Madrid – IVF medical team
The director of Clinica Tambre in Madrid is Doctor Laura Garcia de Miguel, who has over 8 years specialising in IVF and reproductive medicine. Heading the laboratory is manager Susana Cortes who has over 22 years of experience, so you know you are in safe hands when being treated by them. They are backed by a team of over 50 staff in varying positions, including 8 gynaecologists, 7 embryologists and more, who are able to assist you with all of your needs during your treatment.
The first thing you will notice upon entering Clinica Tambre is how clean and aesthetically pleasing the clinic looks, designed specifically to make you feel at ease. With light colours mixed with slightly darker colours it has the perfect look to help you relax and recuperate from any treatment you receive because as we all know, recovery is key.
Clinica Tambre uses the latest techniques and state-of-the-art technologies, that have been designed to help you achieve your dreams of starting, or expanding, your family. Because of this, they are recognised for their excellent success rates both domestically and internationally. To keep their success rates up they also collaborate with scientific research to help further develop the field of reproductive medicine, that way they can be the first to bring you the very best at all times. It is no wonder that 9 out of every 10 women who choose to undergo infertility treatment with Clinica Tambre fulfils their dreams of motherhood.
IVF Treatment at Clinica Tambre
When it comes to treatment Clinica Tambre can offer you multiple choices, all of which will be discussed between you and your doctor at the clinic. With many different treatment options and add-ons available, such as ICSI, MACS, IMSI, PICSI, Donor Genetic Screening, Assisted Hatching, PGT-A or Embryo Monitoring and more, you will surely find the right treatment for you. Whether you wish to use your own eggs and partner’s sperm or your own eggs and donor sperm you will be accommodated. But don’t worry, if you are a female couple then you can also have treatment through ROPA, which is exclusively for all-female couples. ROPA involves utilising the eggs from one partner and implanting them in the other, this way the maternity process will be shared between you, the success rate of this treatment is between 80 and 90%, meaning you’ll have a very high chance of beginning your family.
One major concern for anyone wishing to have a baby and start a family is about passing on any genetic disorders you or your partner may have, be them known or unknown. With PGT-A, the clinic will be able to study the embryos extensively to ensure that no such disorders are passed on. This technique is primarily for patients with a family history of genetic disorders, patients who have had repeated failure with implantation, or women over the age of 38 where chromosomal abnormalities are a higher possibility due to the age of the mother.
If you have a history of multiple failed IVF cycles, you may want to read “Overcoming Multiple Failed IVF Cases | Real Patient Success Stories” where we describe two cases of Clinica Tambre’s patients who had five failed IVF cycles at other clinics and why the sixth cycle at Tambre clinic made such a difference.

If you are wishing to use donor eggs and/or sperm then you will naturally be curious as to the donors. Clinica Tambre in Madrid can assure you that all egg donors are between the ages of 18 and 35 and are physically and mentally healthy, and that sperm donors are all over the age of 18 and physically and mentally healthy, with their average sperm donor age being 23. This way you can be sure that all eggs and sperm are healthy, fertile and ripe for implantation, to give you a higher chance of success.
One aspect of parenthood that often gets remarked upon is how your children look like you and then debate as to who your child looks more like, you or your partner. Conceiving through IVF might make you worry that you won’t get to experience this, but fear not as Tambre Fertility Clinic in Madrid is the first clinic to incorporate biometric facial recognition that enables them to select the donors that match you and/or your partner as closely as possible, that way your child will look like one or both of you with no issues.
With multiple testimonials from patients both in and out of Spain, Clinica Tambre in Madrid should be your number 1 choice for all of your IVF needs. So contact them today to set up a consultation on a date that works best for you and begin the journey towards motherhood that you have always dreamed of.

Clinica Tambre Reviews
If you search Google Business Reviews for this clinic, you will see that Clinica Tambre Madrid has well over a hundred patient reviews and the average rating is 4.5. Here are some of the reviews posted by patients who have had treatment at this centre:
“I have only good things to say about Clínica Tambre. After trying to get pregnant in Ireland for 3 years we decided to try Spain and a friend recommended Tambre. As soon as we got in touch with them we knew we had made the right decision. It’s a patient centered clinic where you feel like you treated like a person not just a number. The communication is very organic, fluid and quick. We couldn’t be happier with the treatment and with the staff.”

“After years of researching how to have a child and creating a family, we have managed with the support, understanding and professionalism of Tambre and their team. All doctors and assistant I meet were lovely. We have now a wonderful 4 month old baby boy who is our happy blessing… The process was easy and travel to Madrid only 2 times ;) I highly recommend their services. For ever grateful…”
Reviewed by Nadia Lala
“I took the trip from Ireland alone as had heard good stories about the clinic. I cannot say enough good things about my experience. From the minute I arrived and the welcome, the attention to the medication and regular scans personalizing medication based on results and the operation itself where being alone was intimidating but they were all so kind to me. Highly recommend and doing this abroad was easier than I could have imagined, especially in light of Covid.”

Clinic has provided the Statement of Truth
We really care about the quality of the information presented on our website.
To make sure that all data provided by clinics is correct - we ask clinics to confirm all data by
"Statement of Truth". The document is signed off by clinic's representatives, scanned and
attached below.
Fresh donor oocytes were used for fertilization with donor or partner's sperm.
Frozen donor eggs Donor oocytes from egg bank were thawed before fertilization with donor or partner's sperm.
Note: As statistics shown in various sources (ESHRE, SART) on average the value of success rate when using frozen eggs may be 10% lower than with fresh eggs.
Embryo transfer day and number of embryos
Embryo transfer day Many clinics prefer to transfer embryos on day 5 at the blastocyst stage as it may lead to better outcomes of an IVF program.
Number of embryos to transfer International and national medical organizations including ASRM, SART and ESHRE discourage the transfer of a large number of embryos because of the increased likelihood of multiple-fetus pregnancies. Multiple-fetus pregnancies, in turn, increase the probability of premature births and related health problems.
Worth to know:
We encourage IVF Clinics to present success rates per cycle rather than per patient. We also ask clinics not to include any frozen embryo transfers in success rates calculation.
Please bear in mind that including frozen embryo transfers (FET) in statistics may increase the overall value of success rates - however at the same time it will increase the cost of the IVF treatment. IVF Clinics usually do not include frozen embryo transfer costs in their programs. That means that if you have any embryos left - the treatment will cost you more than advertised by the clinic.
IVF Success Rates
The way IVF success rates are calculated may vary from clinic to clinic. Calculating and presenting success rates by clinics is a common "communication" issue as clinics try to advertise the best values on their websites.
IVF success rates are usually calculated as a percentage of clinical pregnancies dividing the number of favorable results such as number clinical pregnancies by the number of procedures performed such as a number of embryo transfers, according to the following formula:
"number of pregnancies or number of live births / number of embryo transfers"
You should be aware that the success of IVF treatment is the sum of different factors and circumstances, only few of which depend on the clinic itself. The latter are surely the experience and professionalism of the medical staff as well as offered IVF treatments that allow particular types of patients (with either lower or higher chances of a successful pregnancy).
However, in majority of cases it is your individual situation, condition and medical history that influence the result of the treatment. Your age, genetic factors or various reasons for infertility play a crucial role in determining the IVF success.
Contact in person the clinics you’re interested in and discuss your own perspectives on IVF success instead of studying success rates advertised on clinic's websites.

Popup - Basic guarantees:
Guarantees refer to number of donor eggs (oocytes) included in the program, number of embryos which are guaranteed on day 3 or day 5 at the blastocyst stage.
Important:
When the clinic offers an embryo guarantee, the basic requirement is good quality partner’s sperm. Usually IVF clinics use WHO standards to assess the sperm parameters. If this is the case, make sure you ask the clinic which particular standards are being applied and what parameters are taken into account. Some fertility clinics apply their own standards. Make sure you ask what happens, if despite good sperm parameters, you will not receive the guaranteed number of embryos.

Refund based on outcome
IVF Refund Program is a term used for financial IVF programs. They give the patient access to two or three IVF cycles for one payment. Usually fresh embryo transfers and extra frozen embryo transfers are included in the price.
A multi-cycle IVF refund program means that the treatment continues until the desired result. It may refer to either clinical pregnancy or a live birth – or until all of the program’s cycles are completed. If the IVF program ends successfully, the clinic will not return your money. However, if you don’t achieve your goal, you can count on a partial or full refund of the costs.
