Elite Clinic is an Estonian fertility clinic located in Tartu, the second-largest city in Estonia, situated in the southeastern part of the country. Tartu is often considered the intellectual and cultural capital of Estonia, as it is home to the University of Tartu—the oldest and most prestigious university in the country.
The clinic was established in 2001 and operates as a fully private facility. In 2024, Elite Clinic performed a total of 243 fertility treatment cycles. Of these, 53 were egg donation cycles, while the remaining 190 involved IVF using patients’ own eggs.
Elite Clinic accepts female patients up to the age of 50 for donor egg treatments. The clinic does not impose a BMI requirement, and it welcomes single women as well as patients regardless of marital status.
Elite Clinic occupies its own beautiful, three-storey building featuring spacious halls and welcoming waiting areas that create a calm and private atmosphere for patients. The building is fully accessible thanks to a modern elevator. Each floor displays artwork, including paintings and sculptures, which contribute to the clinic’s unique and soothing ambiance. Free on-site parking is available for patients and visitors.
Elite Clinic is equipped with three IVF laboratories and one fully equipped operating theatre. For post-procedure care, the clinic offers six patient recovery rooms. Five of these are private, single rooms with personal ensuite bathrooms, ensuring maximum comfort and discretion. The sixth room is a shared space with three beds and a shared ensuite, providing an alternative option for patients who do not require individual accommodation.
Elite Clinic’s medical team has played a pioneering role in fertility care in the Baltic region. The first IVF baby in the Baltics was born in 1995 thanks to the expertise of this team, followed by the first successful egg donation birth in 1996. Elite Clinic’s IVF lab team has been working together for over 15 years—an exceptional level of continuity in the field. This kind of stability reflects excellent teamwork, a high level of trust, and reliable results. As a result, patients benefit from consistent, high-quality care delivered by professionals who know and trust each other.
The head of Elite Clinic and its IVF department is Dr. Andrei Sõritsa, MD, PhD—a highly respected and experienced specialist in reproductive medicine. A graduate of the University of Tartu in 1984, Dr. Sõritsa also holds a PhD and has served as an associate professor at the same university. With over 30 years of clinical experience, his expertise spans gynecology, infertility treatment, advanced 4D ultrasound diagnostics, and the management of endometriosis.
Elite Clinic offers an egg donation program that includes access to a donor list and allows recipients to select their donor with guidance and counselling from the clinic’s medical team. Full program details are outlined below.

To reserve an egg donor, a prepayment of €1,850 is required. Donors can be booked up to 3 months in advance. If Elite Clinic cancels the process due to internal reasons, you will receive a full refund or be offered a new donor/treatment at no extra cost. If you choose to cancel, the refund depends on the stage of the process: 1. Before egg thawing: 10% of the prepayment (€185) is non-refundable. 2. Before egg thawing but after embryo transfer (ET) date is set: 10% of the full treatment cost is non-refundable. 3. After egg thawing or on the day of embryo transfer: The full payment is non-refundable.
