LeaderMed In Vitro Fertilization Center was established in 2000 in Tbilisi by Prof. Natalia Khonelidze, MD, PhD. The facility is managed by CEO Giorgi Ambroliani and Medical Director Dr Davit Barabadze. It holds TEMOS International certification and operates under an integrated governance model for its medical and laboratory departments. The clinic infrastructure includes an IVF laboratory, two operating theatres, and private recovery rooms.
The medical team consists of eight fertility specialists and three senior embryologists, each with over 25 years of experience. For international patients, the center provides English-speaking coordinators and remote diagnostic services. LeaderMed’s medical protocols prioritize single embryo transfer, with patient communication conducted via digital platforms and email.

International Patient Support and Global Medical Standards
To support international patients, LeaderMed provides dedicated coordinators fluent in English and Russian, while also facilitating professional medical interpretation for German, Italian, and French upon request.
The clinic’s commitment to high standards is further reflected in the specialization of its medical and embryology teams, whose members have completed international training in countries such as Italy, Spain, Israel, the UK, and Japan. By regularly participating in ESHRE congresses and educational activities, the staff ensures that all clinical and laboratory practices remain aligned with European clinical standards and best practices.
Egg Donation Program at LeaderMed
The egg donation program at LeaderMed is a structured clinical service providing both fresh and frozen donor egg cycles under the direct oversight of the clinic’s founder and medical leadership. The program is accessible to patients up to the age of 50, provided they meet individual medical and obstetric safety criteria. Matching is conducted based on phenotypic characteristics, blood group, and comprehensive medical and genetic screening, with patients receiving non-identifying information such as the donor’s age, physical profile, and medical history.
The standard cost for the program is €5,580 for a single transfer or €6,580 for two transfers, covering donor recruitment, medications, oocyte retrieval, ICSI, and embryo culture to the blastocyst stage. While the clinic utilizes a single embryo transfer strategy to maintain safety and ethical standards, the protocol remains flexible enough to include additional services such as sperm freezing for one year or frozen embryo transfers for an additional fee. International patients are supported throughout the process by dedicated coordinators who manage medical documentation and facilitate communication with the fertility specialists.

In June, I had surgery at this clinic with Tinatin Solomanidze and surgeon Zurab Vashakidze. I’d like to commend not only the doctors’ professionalism but also the friendliness and care of all the medical staff who supported me after the surgery.

I’d like to express my deepest gratitude to specialist doctor Tinatin Solomonidze and medical worker Irina for their excellent and high-quality service! They’re very pleasant doctors, always eager to help and advise, and they process the necessary documents very quickly. In my case, I had to go to the airport for a medical examination at 32 weeks of pregnancy and get two certificates because I had to fly twice. They issued the certificates very quickly and in the correct format. 🫶 I’ll say this upfront: the certificate processing time varies by airline: some take a week, while others take 72 hours, so it’s best to check the information on the airline’s website.
