The Medical Team at Drakopoulos Reproductive Medicine

The medical team is led by Prof. Dr. Panagiotis Drakopoulos, an internationally recognized expert in reproductive medicine and surgery. He shares his extensive knowledge through academic roles as Assistant Professor at the University of Brussels (VUB, IVF Brussels) and at the European University of Cyprus.

With more than 110 scientific publications and regular contributions as a speaker and reviewer for leading international IVF journals and conferences, Prof. Drakopoulos combines scientific precision with clinical excellence.

The team follows a holistic approach to the IVF journey, offering not only advanced fertility treatment but also emotional support from a certified fertility psychologist, as well as guidance from a dietitian and internal medicine specialist. Egg Donation Program Overview at Drakopoulos Reproductive Medicine

Drakopoulos Reproductive Medicine offers a comprehensive egg donation program designed to maximize the chances of successful pregnancy with personalized, high-standard care. The program guarantees a minimum of two blastocysts developed from each donation cycle, assuming a suitable semen sample is provided. Additional embryos are often frozen for future use, providing patients with improved treatment flexibility.

The treatment covers all critical stages of the egg donation process—including donor ovarian stimulation and medication, ICSI fertilization, embryo culture to blastocyst stage using advanced EmbryoScope technology, and freezing of surplus embryos. This ensures the highest standards of embryo development and quality control. Surrogacy programs are also available from €25,000; due to Greece’s complex legal requirements, cases are evaluated individually, with the clinic focusing solely on medical aspects such as screening, embryo transfer, and monitoring.

While the treatment package includes nearly all aspects of the egg donation cycle, certain components are not covered – such as blood tests required before and during treatment, medication costs, and administrative fees like file opening.

The program is overseen by Prof. Dr. Panagiotis Drakopoulos, who provides continuous support and guidance, ensuring that each patient receives individually tailored medical care throughout their fertility journey with donor eggs.
