Jessica Hepburn

Jessica Hepburn is an author, arts producer and adventure activist. Having been through eleven rounds of IVF she has become a pioneer in raising awareness of what it means to struggle to create the family you long for and inspiring people to live as big and bravely as possible whatever disappointments life has thrown at them. Putting words into action she is UK’s leading patient voices on fertility, infertility and assisted conception. On top of that she also founded Fertility Fest (www.fertilityfest.com) the world’s first arts festival exploring the science of modern family-making. Jessica is also dedicating this decade of her life to taking on some of the world’s most iconic endurance challenges to raise awareness of the physical AND mental struggle to conceive and go through IVF. So far this has included the London Marathon, the English Channel and in 2020 she is set to climb Mount Everest and attempt to become the first woman to achieve the incredible ‘Pond to Peak’ challenge. In 2018 she was nominated as one of Amnesty International’s Women of Suffragette Spirit; ‘Woman of The Week’ in Stylist magazine and won the Fertility Foundation’s inaugural ‘Fertility Hero’ Award for her role as an infertility advocate. She has published two books: 'The Pursuit of Motherhood' and '21 Miles: swimming in search of the meaning of motherhood'.
