Theoni Pastroma, MSc, Clinical Embryologist

Theoni Pastroma is a UK-trained clinical embryologist, HCPC registered clinical scientist. She studied in the University of London and started working in the area of fertility in 2001. She has been working at Gennima IVF since 2007 and she is actually responsible for setting-up our state-of-the-art embryology lab, now using Embryoscope+ time-lapse incubators. Theoni makes sure that our lab functions at benchmark standards, according to the latest international guidelines and ISO requirements. Her team of embryologists will help you maximize your treatment’s chance of success by providing insight and suggesting the best option. Theoni works closely with our fertility experts to design tailor-made treatments for each of our patients, meet with them in person to help them understand each step of their treatment. In her opinion the embryology lab cannot be like a black box that nobody knows what’s inside.
